Now Available from Tregaryn Publishing
Dear Readers,
I’m thrilled to share some big news: the Stoning Demons series is now available through Tregaryn Publishing. This 3-book set represents years of personal reckoning, research, and recovery — and now, it has a permanent home with a publisher that truly values lived experience and honest, unfiltered voices.
What Is Stoning Demons?
Stoning Demons is a 3-part series that offers a deeply personal and psychologically informed account of what it means to live with the aftermath of childhood trauma and Complex PTSD. It’s not a memoir in the traditional sense — it’s a witness account from inside the experience, a mapping of trauma’s echo, and a search for relief that doesn’t ignore the body, the brain, or the nervous system.
The series also explores something too often left out of mainstream trauma discourse: the role of cannabis in managing symptoms of Complex PTSD. For those of us who have not responded well to traditional psychiatric medications, this topic is not just relevant — it’s critical. Stoning Demons doesn’t sensationalize or oversimplify the topic, but rather situates cannabis use in the context of surviving daily life with a dysregulated nervous system.
Each book in the series offers its own lens:
- Book 1: Childhood Trauma is a Primer for Complex PTSD
Explores how early trauma — especially in emotionally unsafe family systems — lays the groundwork for lifelong dysregulation. - Book 2: Trauma Reactions Aren’t Mental Illness
Challenges the dominant medical model by reframing trauma symptoms as adaptations, not pathologies, and offers insight into how labeling can both help and harm. - Book 3: Self-Regulation in a World That Triggers You
Offers grounded, real-life tools and reflections on emotional regulation, cannabis, sensory overload, and the unglamorous, nonlinear path to healing.
Why This Series Matters
Stoning Demons is for those of us who’ve sat in therapists’ offices and felt like something was still missing. It’s for people who’ve been misdiagnosed, overlooked, or invalidated. It’s for survivors who’ve been told their symptoms are “just anxiety” or “just depression,” and for anyone who has ever felt broken by a world that doesn’t see the full picture.
This series doesn’t offer easy answers — but it offers truth, validation, and language for experiences that are often hard to articulate.
Why Tregaryn Publishing?
Tregaryn Publishing is a home for bold, independent thinkers — voices from the margins, the edge-dwellers, and those with hard-won knowledge. I’m proud to join a growing list of authors who challenge dominant narratives and speak from lived experience.
With their support, Stoning Demons is now available in a bundled 3-book set — accessible, powerful, and ready to reach the people who need it most.
Whether you are in the midst of your own trauma recovery, working to better understand someone you love, or simply looking for more honest accounts of survival and self-trust — this series is for you.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for doing the quiet, invisible work of healing.
Warmly,
Kimberly Revis Callis
