Introductions

Welcome to the Self-Discovery Forum! 🌿

This is the place to say hello, introduce yourself, and let the community know a little bit about who you are — if you feel comfortable.

You might share:

  • Your name or nickname (whatever feels safe for you)

  • A little about your journey with self-discovery, healing, or growth

  • What brought you to this forum

  • Anything you hope to explore or learn here

There’s no pressure to share more than you want. This is a safe, supportive space for complex trauma survivors and those with acquired neurodivergence. Your story is yours to tell, and it will be met with empathy, not judgment.

A few tips to get started:

  • Keep it kind and respectful.

  • Take your time — you can post a little or a lot.

  • Respond to others if you feel called, but it’s okay just to read and observe.

I'm so glad you’re here. 🌱 Take a deep breath, share when you’re ready, and know that your presence matters.

Hello and welcome,

I’m Kimberly Callis, the creator of Tregaryn Publishing and moderator of this Self-Discovery Portal. I wanted to start this thread so everyone has a safe place to say hello and share a little about themselves if they’d like.

A little about me:

  • I am a nearly 60-year-old survivor of CSA.
  • I have endometriosis, a chronic invasive condition that acts like a benign cancer that responds to hormones and stress.
  • I have survived sepsis and neurological impacts of sepsis-induced hypoxia as well as neuroendocrine effects of long-term hormone therapy.
  • I’ve lived with complex traumatic stress and acquired neurodivergence, and much of my work comes from my own journey of understanding and healing.
  • I’ve created books, guides, and this portal to help others navigate similar experiences, and to provide tools, reflections, and community along the way.

  • I’m constantly learning and growing, and I hope this space can be a place where we all feel seen, heard, and supported.

What brought me here today is the same thing that brought you here — a desire for connection, understanding, and a safe space to explore self-discovery.

I’d love to hear from you, in whatever way feels safe... a small hello, a story, a hope, or a question. There’s no right or wrong way to participate here.

Thank you for being here. Your presence matters.
